Working as a painter in a wide range of mediums and subjects, Lyn has participated in many joint and solo exhibitions throughout the country. She has won a number of awards and is represented in corporate collections including that of The Reserve Bank.

A versatile artist/craftsperson, Lyn has illustrated a number of books, encompassing educational material for TAFE, historical anecdotes and children’s books. Her jewellery is innovative and individually designed.

She has taught art at secondary and tertiary levels and currently conducts adult classes in pen and wash, watercolours, oils, acrylics and mixed media at her Tranmere Studio.

Lyn welcomes Jewellery and Painting commissions. She will paint from your photo; buildings, landscapes, portraits, pets etc.

Lyn Robins has had 40 years experience in teaching adults at TAFE and in her own studio. She is a practising professional artist working with many mediums including water colours, acrylic, pen and wash and gouache. She also regularly lectures and demonstrates at city and country art groups. She is available for workshops and weekend schools in Adelaide or the country (happy to be billeted). These may be in general painting or drawing or for more specific topics such as “Painless Perspective”, Portraiture or the “Wow of Watercolour” etc.
